Starting a DIY home project is not really difficult. What you will need is a system design blueprint and instructional guide. This is where the Energy 2 Green manual will come in handy.

The guide was written by Tomas Haynes.

The Energy 2 Green package can be a great companion to help you achieve your goal.

First impressionsHome Made Energy Review

They really put a lot of focus on the educational aspect of solar and wind power, much more so than almost all of the other guides that I’ve read.

Honestly, I quite like it. The graphics are really good with excellent sales copy on the site.

The simplicity of the manual has allowed even the most novice, those with no engineering skills or even without considerable do-it-yourself experience, to assemble their own alternative home power source.

The ComponentsHome Made Energy Review

All in all, the information in Energy 2 Green is pretty well written out. Relatively easy to understand with lots of graphics, pictures and diagrams. There are also instructional videos included with the package.

Energy 2 Green is also loaded with energy saving tips that you can use around the home that cannot fail to make you more energy efficient before you even begin your project.

One of the things that impressed me most of all was the section on how to audit your home. This is an exact way of figuring out the individual usage and cost of each electrical appliance and service in your home that will give you an in-depth exactness on the savings to be made.

They have included a “Planning and Installing Bioenergy Systems” bonus which is a whopping 238 pages of educational material including all different aspects of alternative energy including: solar bioenergy, biogas, liquid biofuels, small combustion systems, and large scale heaters.

They have also included another educational bonus on “Renewable Energy Technology” which will take you much deeper into the science and advanced use of these green technologies.

They also include a great 11 part video series that covers over 60 minutes of video instruction of building a solar panel from start to finish. This is a great video series that is easy to follow.

The only requirement really is having the knowledge to use the hand tools properly. The simplified plans as well as the lists of parts included in the manual surely help a lot. The parts that Energy2Green lists contain detailed descriptions and other useful information.

They have a ton of educational material but not so much that it drowns out the instructions. They did a great job of getting both to work together effectively. The pictures were nice and big and easy on the eyes.

Unfortunately, the organization of the product is not as good as it is with other products, like Green DIY Energy or Earth 4 Energy. Those who are looking for a straightforward, step-by-step guide that does not leave anything out or skip around might be confused with the system. On the other hand, the fact that this does come in four separate components might be just what you're looking for, depending on your learning style.

Some Concerns. Does it work?Home Made Energy Review

The guide will be able to reduce the monthly bills on electricity by about 50% or higher depending on the number of solar panels or wind turbines you install. Another very useful tip the book has are lists of ways how one can conserve energy.

Energy2Green did a great job in revealing many different ways to reduce home electricity and gas use by more than 25%. They covered everything including pressure testing your house, lighting, appliances, home electronics, laundry, vacuums, water heating, air-conditioners, heaters, and windows. They have pretty much covered it all.
